A leprechaun

What is a leprechaun?

















It is a type of fairy in Irish folklore. They are little bearded men, wearing a coat and hat. 
They are solitary creatures who spend their time making and mending shoes and have a hidden pot of gold at the end of the rainbow
If captured by a human, they often grant three wishes in exchange for their freedom.

Ireland - Saint Patrick´s Day

Ireland is a European country. It is an island in the North Atlantic.

Saint Patrick is one of the Ireland´s Patron Saints. Saint Patrick´s day is celebrated all around the world on the 17th of March.


The most common St Patrick´s Day symbol is the shamrock. It is the leaf of the clover plant and a symbol of the Holy Trinity.
Many people choose to wear the color green and the flag of the Republic of Ireland is often seen in parades.
