• Los años con cuatro dígitos se leen normalmente de dos en dos:

            1998: nineteen ninety-eight

            1492: fourteen ninety-two

            1675: sixteen seventy-five

• Cuando terminan en 00, se usa la palabra "hundred":

            1900: nineteen hundred

            1700: seventeen hundred

• Cuando el tercer dígito es un 0, se pronuncia con oh (ou):

            1905: nineteen oh five

            1807: eighteen oh seven

• entre el 2000 y 2009 se utiliza la palabra thousand. Después del 2010 se pueden elegir las dos opciones mencionadas ( de dos en dos o con la palabra thousand)
